On the 6th January 2023 at the Wolf Moon Jackie Morris and I launched the crowd funder for our book, Wild Folk, to be published by Unbound books. Within 5 days we had reached 100% funding which was an incredible achievement and by the book’s publication in July 2025, we had reached over 400%. 

Wild Folk is a book of seven richly illustrated fables of transformation and power, summoned from the ancient stones beneath our feet and transformed by word and image into portals between past and future. 

The journey to release Wild Folk has not been a smooth one. The original publisher Unbound went into administration before the book’s publication and subsequent publisher Boundless ceased trading on 1st August. However, thanks to continued support of readers and bookshops the book continues to rise from the ashes.

We are now pleased to announce that we have signed with Chelsea Green Publishing for both the North American and UK markets and the book will be re-released 17th March 2026 ready for the Spring Equinox.
