Description

A bit about this print:
Spring is always such a time for rejoicing, when new life returns to the land and we look eagerly for the first primroses and lambs in the fields. The hare is also linked with spring, some say it is connected with the Saxon goddess, Eostre, and others say it is because folklore had it that hares laid eggs in the meadows from which their leverets (baby hares) hatched fully furred with their eyes open. Either way I’m always excited to see them on our local hill where I walk every day and which looks very like the hill in this panel.
